I offer individualized acupuncture treatments in Vienna, combining many years of clinical experience with a calm, patient-focused approach. My goal is to understand your concerns, explain the treatment clearly, and develop an acupuncture plan that is tailored to your individual needs.

My practice is located on Mariahilfer Straße (1060 Vienna), with an additional practice in 1230 Vienna (Kaufpark Alterlaa), making treatment easily accessible from different parts of the city.

Every patient is different. Before starting treatment, we discuss your symptoms, medical history and treatment goals to determine whether acupuncture may be an appropriate option for you.

Prompt Appointments

When you are in pain or feeling unwell, waiting several weeks for an appointment can be frustrating. I therefore aim to offer appointments as soon as possible whenever availability allows.

Appointments are available by prior arrangement.

Appointments are carefully scheduled to minimize waiting times. I also kindly ask my patients to arrive on time (or even 5 minutes earlier) so that every consultation can begin as planned.

Consultation, Fees and Appointments

Your First Appointment

Your first visit includes a consultation about your medical history, current symptoms and treatment goals, followed by an acupuncture treatment tailored to your individual needs.

You can choose between:

Standard Session

• Initial consultation including treatment: €120

• Follow-up treatment: €80 (approximately 25 minutes)

Extended Session

• Initial consultation including extended treatment: €140

• Follow-up extended treatment: €120 (2 × 25 minutes)

What is an extended session?

An extended session consists of two consecutive 25-minute acupuncture treatments. After the first 25 minutes, the initial needles remain in place while additional acupuncture points are added for the second treatment phase. This allows for a more comprehensive and individualized treatment when appropriate.

Many patients with chronic conditions benefit from a course of approximately ten treatments, although the exact number varies depending on the individual condition and response to therapy.

Before Your Appointment

For the best treatment experience:

• Do not arrive on an empty stomach, but avoid heavy meals shortly beforehand.

• A light snack about one hour before your appointment is recommended. 

• Drink enough water before your appointment to stay well hydrated. 

• Wear comfortable clothing, as acupuncture points are often located on the arms, legs, feet and back.

After Your Treatment

To support your body's natural recovery:

• Drink plenty of water after your acupuncture session to help maintain good hydration.

• Avoid strenuous physical exercise immediately after your treatment.

• If possible, allow yourself some time to relax before returning to a busy schedule.

Payment

Payment is made in cash at the end of each appointment.

Reimbursement for acupuncture treatment may be available through Austrian health insurance providers or private health insurance, depending on your individual insurance policy and, in some cases, your medical condition.

Private health insurance plans may offer more extensive reimbursement, with some policies covering up to 80% of the treatment costs.

As reimbursement policies vary, I recommend contacting your health insurance provider before your appointment to clarify the conditions and the level of reimbursement available under your plan.

Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance by SMS.
